The Industrial Media Converter complies with IEEE 802.3z, IEEE 802.3AB Standards. It is designed to convert data signal between 10/100/1000Base-T and 1000Base-LX Gigabit Ethernet. It supports 10/100/1000Base-T and 1000Base-LX applications. The data signal converted by such high performance media converter can be transmitted up to 80Km maximum by fiber-optical cable.

The Converter is equipped with single fiber optic connectors (One for transmitting-TX and another for receiving-RX) and one RJ-45 Jack and one external pwer supply receptacle. Three LED indicators are built-in for easy diagnosing and monitoring the status of power, Unshielded Twisted Paired (UTP) Link, UTP Activity, Fiber Link, Fiber Activity, Full duplex and data rates. It can be configured automatically for Full Duplex or Half Duplex operation.

It is compact, cost-effective, low dissipative, high reliable and stable. It can be used in standalone applications, or DIN-Rail mounted applications where multiple media converters can be attached to a DIN-Rail.

This Industrial Media Converter meets the following Industry Standards:

Frequently asked questions

How many Ethernet ports does this industrial 1-port media converter have?

This model includes one copper Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45) port and one fiber optic LC port, making it a standard 1:1 media conversion unit. For applications requiring multiple copper connections at a remote site over a single fiber run, see the 4-port industrial models (IT-1000MM-LC-04 or IT-1000SM20-LC-04).

What operating temperature range does this industrial media converter support?

This industrial media converter is rated for continuous operation from -40 degrees C to 85 degrees C (-40 degrees F to 185 degrees F). This extended temperature range makes it suitable for outdoor enclosures, factory floors, transportation systems, and other environments where standard commercial-grade equipment may not operate reliably.

What is the maximum transmission distance of this 20km Gigabit singlemode media converter?

This media converter supports a maximum transmission distance of 20km over singlemode fiber.

Was this helpful? Thanks for your feedback.
What wavelength does this 1310nm Gigabit singlemode media converter use?

This media converter operates at a wavelength of 1310nm over singlemode fiber (LX type).

Was this helpful? Thanks for your feedback.
Does this media converter use an LC fiber connector?

Yes. This media converter features an LC fiber optic port. LC connectors use a compact push-pull locking mechanism and are the most common fiber connector type in modern data center and enterprise networking environments. An LC fiber patch cable is required to connect this unit to your fiber infrastructure.
