Product reviews for 120MM Wall Mount Cabinet Fan

What I ordered and what I received were not quite the same thing. I ordered a pair of Jinyuda Model FD1238A1HS cooling fans, for a home theater equipment rack. What I received was a pair of Zhenda ZD1225A1HS fans. (A close look at the picture, on the Cables-n-More website,  does show the Jinyuda 1238A fan.) While Zhenda fans may have the same electrical specs as the Jinyuda fans, the exterior fan dimensions are not quite the same - specifically the height of the Zhenda fan is about 1/2 inch shorter than the Jinyuda. The outside dimensions are the same and all of the mounting holes matched. Why this makes a difference is that the Jinyuda fans, when mounted in their holder, were flush with the exhaust vent of the rack, which creates a strong air flow. The Zhenda fans, because they shorter, when mounted in the holder, are not flush with the exhaust vent, and as a result, the air flow is not quite as strong, resulting in a diminished air flow throughout the rack. This could have an effect on the fan's ability to cool the equipment, as effectively. All of that said, the quality of the fans seem comparable - both are well built and quiet.
